I wanted to record the WAY that Josey talks.
Being only 26 months, of course there are words that she doesn't say correctly. Don't get me wrong- she talks wonderfully and is like a small parrot, because she will repeat ANYTHING that she hears.
The way she mispronounces things melts my heart over and over again.
Mama, I need a wikey. (meaning wipee)
Wanna go check cows at minmill pace. (the windmill place- her favorite place in the world- more on this later.)
Turn the hight off. (meaning light)
I'll be back back. (instead of right back)
I payed with ToeNail today. (played with Cole Neal- the little boy that stays with her at the babysitter's)
There are many more, but of course I'm drawing a blank. She is completely the cutest 32 pound little red headed package there's ever been. Mom says she looks more like me everyday, but that I was never as independent and hardheaded as Josey is. I'm not sure this is a good thing. :0

words
The amount that Josey talks never ceases to amaze and surprise me. When school got out in May, she was saying one or two words at a time, and much of the time, I couldn't even understand her.
Here is a common Josey sentence now- "Mama, let Baby A outside, please."
Or - "Go feed cow Windmill place. Mama get gate. Look! Baby calves. Black calves."
Or- "I wipe my nose on my mama's shirt."
Every single day, she comes up with something new to say. She is way more perceptive than I usually think she is. She loves to imitate me, which may not always be a good thing.
Being a mom is so wonderful.
